Featuring the participation of ten architects from Taiwan and ten from abroad, ‘Next Gene 20' will result in the construction of 176 weekend residences in the Aodi area, on the northeast coast of Taiwan. Included in the design themes are topics such as next-generation residential environments, proposals for new lifestyles, and a dialogue between architecture and the land. Plans and models are explored from architects including: Kengo Kuma, Yung Ho Chang, MVRDV, IaN+, Hsueh-Yi Chien and Yu-Tung Liu.
